Information has surfaced from reviews of the iPad Mini that it is the first iOS device to have stereo speakers. Now, Apple did not mention that the iPad Mini had stereo speakers at their unveiling however Joshua Topolsky confirmed in a Tweet that they were indeed stereo.

Now, you would think that having 2 speakers on a small tablet wouldn’t matter much but it does make a huge difference in sound. Charlie Sorrel from Cult of Mac tested out stereo speakers with his iPhone and a Jambox which is about the same width as the iPad Mini. He noticed considerable differences in sound quality from mono to stereo settings.

Well, for those who get your iPad Mini when it launches please let us know how it sounds. I doubt we will have one to test ourselves soon.
