Just when I thought I was sick of hearing gnarly Bass Music everywhere, South Central came through and revitalized my interest with this ridiculously gnarly EP. The hooded duo from Brighton has been working hard to earn their place in the realm of bass music for over five years, and finally caught the eye of taste-maker label Dim Mak who brought them on board for their newest project. The Hollywood EP is a benchmark release for the boys, showing off their aggressive style and creative ability to push the envelope while not be locked down into one particular genre. I’ve been sitting on this promo for a few weeks now and every time I play ‘Jaw Drop’, the dancefloor straight-up loses their shit as the track lives up to its name. It’s nearly impossible to mix because it starts out with samples from the movie Jaws, but I easily got passed that once I heard the drop.

The release has four tracks, but there are currently only two previews available. Check them out below and watch for this track to drop on Dim Mak November 13th. I guarantee you will be hearing these tracks being rinsed out everywhere fine bass music is played very soon.
