G-Eazy – Must Be Nice (Free Album)
“‘Must Be Nice’ is a snap shot of who I am and what I’m about, at this point in my life,” says G-Eazy. “It’s my first proper album to introduce me to the world so I wanted to create a cohesive body of work, with a consistent sound that would flow beautifully from top to bottom.” -G
G-Eazy’s been hard at work on his craft for years now, and he’s starting to see his dream come to fruition. About two years ago exactly, I first got my ears on “Waspy,” which served as my introduction to Mr. Gillum. He sampled Tennis’ “Marathon,” in such a way that it formed it’s own indie/doo-wop/hip-hop sub genre. Since then, his production has improved tenfold, and he’s established himself as a mainstay on the blog circuit — which eventually led him to a slot on the Vans Warped Tour.
Must Be Nice consists of 10 tracks, some of which you’ve heard before — some of which you haven’t. The dude has found his own lane, and it’ll be exciting to sit back and watch his rise.
Check him on tour with Hoodie Allen this fall. Tickets avaialble at G-Eazy.com.
