A fellow colleague of mine recently called me out by saying I refer to every female artist I post on DML as “my future wife”. While I know Carly Rae Jepsen is nothing but a pipe dream, I think it speaks to the fact that I truly value talent, professionalism, and musical taste in potential ladyfriends and if an Aussie rap vicen just so happened to take over my iTunes one day, it’s purely coincidence. Therefore, call this a remix pack, an artist feature, or a last chance for love before the window has closed. This week, we’re switching things up a bit and focusing on Iggy Azalea, one of the best new faces in hip-hop today. Coming from Oz, Iggy has created a name for herself with “an accent, an ass, and a song that said the word ‘pussy’ over and over again” and even got the nod from XXL as one of 2012′s Freshmen. Because Azalea is such an eccentric talent, the remixes of her work are as wide of a variety as you’ll ever get.
