AN UNDER WATER GUINNESS BAR
The next time you are enjoying a delicious pint of Guinness, imagine what it would be like to be drinking your dark, frothy brew deep-sea style. Thanks to London-based architecture firm, Jump Studios, you don’t have to come up with all the details in your imagination. Jump Studios recently completed the design of a submarine interior for the first ever deep-sea bar that is located in the Baltic in the Stockholm Archipelago. The design idea is based on the concept of fluidity (dare we say, based on the liquid-nature of the beverage?) and is constructed entirely out of GRP (aka glass reinforced plastic) that helps capture the feeling of being “immersed in a dynamic, flowing experience”. Pretty cool, huh? As if Guinness could get any more enjoyable! The only drawback, the submarine space is quite small – a maximum of 10 persons can use the space at once (assuming that means wait staff also?) but really, would you want more people than this enjoying such a unique space at once? We think not.
