Obviously, Twitter is blowing up right now in the wake of the release of Lupe Fiasco‘s latest single, “B*tch Bad”. The general consensus is that no one cares about the Chicago rapper, but I beg to differ. Somehow, someway, with one of the worst albums in Lasers behind him, he has remained in the limelight for better or for worse. With that said, “B*tch Bad” is definitely worth the discussion. The lyrical topics are different from previous offerings, and the production is off the map as well. Honestly, I haven’t decided what I think about this track, but I am trying to take a listen from the perspective of someone who doesn’t think Fiasco is a total waste of hip-hop life. Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1 is due out Sept. 25.
